Capitalizing on Your Intelligence Style

Keirsey Temperament Theory identifies 4 distinct styles of intelligence. Each of the 4
temperaments has a stronger natural preference order of these 4 intelligence styles, such that
they tend to develop the most strength in the style for which they have the strongest preference,
and the least strength where their preference is the weakest. Guardians are strongest in
logistical intelligence, Artisans in tactical intelligence, Idealists in diplomatic
intelligence, and Rationals in strategic intelligence.
When careers makes use of the type of intelligence of each personality
style, everyone benefits. The individual likes the job better and the company benefits
from having an employee who is good at their job. In this series of articles, we look
at each temperament's strongest intelligence style, and how your college major applies to
future career choices.
